Varna Free University will host a national round table on the protection of children in the event of parental separation

The Department of Civil Law at the Faculty of Law at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" organizes a round table on the topic 'Legal Aspects of the Protection of Children in the Event of Parental Separation'. The event will be held on April 30th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., in Hall 3 of the University's Academic and Sports Complex.

The forum will bring together representatives of the academic community, state institutions, the judicial system, child protection authorities, as well as practitioners - judges, lawyers, prosecutors, experts, social workers, police officers, mediators and non-governmental organizations.

The round table aims at drawing attention to the legal and social challenges in protecting children's rights in cases of parental separation. Discussions on existing problems in legislation and practice, as well as suggestions for better inter-institutional cooperation are expected.
