VARNA FREE UNIVERSITY WILL MAKE TECHNOLOGICAL DEMONSTRATIONS AT "TECHNOSTART – VARNA"

Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will actively participate in the third edition of "TECHNOSTART - Varna" with demonstrations and workshops that will present the possibilities of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
Arch. Stefan Vlahov, a lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture at the university, will lead the workshop "Digital Twins". With the help of a professional 3D scanner, real objects will be photographed, which will turn into detailed digital models - their "twins", ready for visualization, processing and 3D printing.
Senior Asst. Prof. Andriana Ivanova, PhD, a lecturer at the Department of Informatics and Computer Science, will give a demonstration on "Computer Vision". The emphasis will be on the possibilities of deep learning for recognising and localising objects in video streams and images. The principles of operation of neural networks and the broad applications of artificial intelligence in real situations will be shown.
"TECHNOSTART – Varna" 2025 will be held on 15 September 2025 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm in front of the entrance to the Sea Garden in Varna. The organizer is ICT Cluster – Varna with the support of the Municipality of Varna and the participation of over 20 technology companies, universities and schools.
Among the special highlights this year is the presence of Nikola Tsolov, the Bulgarian Formula 3 star, who will be a guest at the forum. He will sign autographs, meet fans and be the patron of the "Pit Stop Challenge" competition, in which participants will compete with the educational STEM electric kart EduKartGo.
"TECHNOSTART - Varna" will turn the first school day into a celebration of technology and innovation for students, parents and teachers.
