The jubilee tenth edition of Webit.Festival Europe will be more influential and larger than ever. It will include politicians, Euro-commissioners, presidents and leaders of the world's largest and most innovative companies, hundreds of investors and thousands of entrepreneurs.
The festival will be held on June 26-27 in Sofia and will be the leading event of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the European Week of Digital Technology and Innovations.
The unique mix of over 7, 000 technological and digital experts (67% of them in CEO positions) with more than 1,000 law makers and controllers from Europe and beyond, makes Webit a preferred platform for the exhibitors.
The stand of Varna Free University, under the motto "Inspired by Webit", will present a unique product called "See the future through our eyes", developed in partnership with Love2Design, a series of innovative programs in the field of entrepreneurship, circular economy, digital technologies, digital marketing and cyber security, as well as specialized business partner packages, institutions and investors.
As part of the representatives of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", the President Prof. D.Sc. Anna Nedyalkova will join the platinum package of events.
Over 10 parallel conferences and exhibitions will be held within Webit.Festival. Top speakers from around the world will build up over 60 hours of conference programme with topics such as: Europe in 2030-2050, smart cities, modern infrastructure, blockchain, cyber security, digital health, entertainment and media in the 21st century. Topical issues such as fake news, the future of television, advertising and the media, society and culture in the digital age, the GDPR regulation, digital skills and education will be discussed. The topic "Women in Business and Politics" will be part of the plenary sessions, chaired by EU Commissioner for Digital Economy and Digital Society, Maria Gabriel.
