The team of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" took part in the student exchange organized at First Language High School - one of the most prestigious educational institutions in Varna.

In her welcome speech during the opening, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eleonora Tankova, Vice-Rector of VFU and a graduate from the high school, called on students to believe in themselves, not to be afraid of mistakes, to try and learn from their mistakes. She emphasized that the courage to seek and find one's own path is key to personal growth and their success as future professionals.
Current students majoring in Law, Architecture and Psychology, also graduates from First Language High School, shared their experience at the university - about the quality of education, internships, mobility programmes such as "Erasmus +" and the opportunities for realization after graduation.
Prof. Dr. Yonko Kunchev – Dean of the Faculty of Law, held a meeting with students interested in studying law. He presented the curriculum, professional prospects and emphasized the real connection between academic knowledge and practice in studying at VFU.
The university’s stand attracted the attention of high school students with interactive demonstrations – fingerprinting, creating a digital lookalike, as well as working on interior design and furnishing homes.
The participation of Varna Free University in the exchange reinforced its active role in the educational environment in Varna and the country and its commitment to the future of young people – with a focus on opportunities, courage and informed choice.
Meanwhile, a group of eleventh graders from the specialized programme 'History' at First Language School, together with their teacher Neli Dimova, participated in a meeting-conversation with Judge Ivelina Zheleva from the District Court - Varna and mentor of the teams of Varna Free University in Criminal Justice. During the discussion, Judge Zheleva spoke not only about the specifics of the work in the judicial system, but also shared her experience and work with students from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". She emphasized their high level of preparation and their success - second place in the National Student Competition in Criminal Justice, in which students from 12 teams from six law faculties in the country participated.
