Varna Free University works in partnership with business to prepare young people for the professions of the future
In a series of initiatives, students from different professional areas meet with business representatives and discuss topics related to their career development.
The Department of Arts works to develop the creativity of young people in close contact with the different creative industries and through training in a real working environment.
Under the Experts and Students - Partnership for Competitiveness Initiative, in the 2017/2018 academic year, a series of initiatives are ahead, the aim of which is not only to introduce Fashion Design students to leading companies in the fashion industry but also to give them the opportunity to work on problems posed by businesses.
One of the leading women's clothing manufacturers in Bulgaria - "BTB Bulgaria"OOD, town of Ruse, opens its doors to the students of Varna Free University with the belief that the right way to stimulate young people who are ambitious to prove themselves through their knowledge and skills, must be open to employers. The company that works successfully on the foreign market and develops its own trademark, Vayana, assigned the students a specific task for the design of women's clothing. They will be able to present their projects to the company's specialists in April.
The Department has scheduled some more meetings, seminars and practicals also in other companies working in the field of fashion, aimed at career guidance and practice-related training.
