VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" AWARDED THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RUSSKIY MIR FOUNDATION VLADIMIR KOCHIN A HONORARY DIPLOMA

The academic management of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" in the person of its President - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krasimir Nedyalkov and the Rector  - Prof. Dr. Peter Hristov awarded the executive director of the Russkiy Mir Foundation Vladimir Kochin a
honorary diploma for his contribution to the development of Russian-Bulgarian cooperation in the field of education, science and culture and on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Russian Center of VFU. This happened during the International Qualification School "Modern Pedagogical Technologies in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language" held at the university. For the 11th consecutive year, the event brings together young Russicists from the most prestigious European universities, led by their desire to study and teach Russian. The school is supported by the Russkiy Mir Foundation, Rossotrudnichestvo Agency in Bulgaria and is conducted under the patronage of the President of Varna Free University Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krasimir Nedyalkov.

The lecturers who contributed to the development and promotion of the International Qualification School as a sustainable educational brand with international credibility were also honored. Prof. D.Sc. Leonid Moskovkin and Senior lecturer Denis Bukin from St. Petersburg State University, Prof. D.Sc.Valeriy Efremov from the Russian State Pedagogical University "A. I. Herzen" and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nadya Cherneva from the Plovdiv University "Paisii Hilendarski".
An honorary diploma on behalf of the President and the Rector of Varna Free University was awarded to Dr. Stoyanka Pochekanska - the Chief Expert in Russian at the Ministry of Education and Science in Bulgaria.

For the past 11 years, the School has had 619 graduates from 30 European and Asian universities. The team, under the management of Prof. Dr. Galina Shamonina, is a holder of the prestigious Varna Award in the field of humanities.
"We are proud of the high quality of teaching at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". We are proud to have such a partner in Bulgaria," said Vladimir Kochin, the Executive Director of the Russkiy Mir Foundation during the opening of the forum. He added that the Foundation will continue to support the development of the International Qualification School in Varna.
