A cooperation agreement between VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the University "Sakaria" in Turkey was signed by their rectors - Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov and Prof. Dr. Fatih Savashan. This happened during Prof. Hristov's working visit to our southern neighbor country.
Sakaria University is one of the largest universities in Turkey with over 85,000 students. Established in 1992, it has a rich scientific and research activity. The university has six research institutes and 14 faculties that train students in the fields of education and science, business, Middle East research, health and social sciences.
Prof. Petar Hristov was acquainted with the work and the campuses of Rumeli University in Istanbul. He was welcomed by the Rector - Prof. Dr. Hazam Tamer Dodurka. They discussed the development of the cooperation between the universities, which have been active partners since 2019. The World Congress of Child and Adolescent Psychology will be held at the end of October and Varna Free University is a partner for Bulgaria at Rumeli University. Representatives of the Departments of Psychology from leading Bulgarian universities will take part in the scientific event, and 15 native scientists have already announced their participation in the forum. Two professors from VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" have keynote lectures on the topics of the World Congress.
