VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABER" ORGANISES A CAREER EXPO FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" organizes a career expo, which will be held on December 5, 2023 in the Central lobby of the university. The event is within the frames of the project BG05M20P001-2-016-0026 'Innovative Model for Modernization of Higher Education by Creating of the Academic Ecosystem VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" - Technical University - Varna - Plovdiv University "Paisiy Hilendarski", financed under the operational programme 'Science and Education for Intelligent Growth'.

The event will be opened by Prof. Petar Hristov, Rector of Varna Free University. On the eve of Student’s Day, December 8th, the rector will award excellent students who have contributed to raising the prestige of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" in sports and social activities.
The career expo provides a unique opportunity for students to meet representatives of the largest companies in Varna, including Solvay Sodi AD and Hidrostroy AD. Students will have the opportunity to speak with business representatives, learn about internship and future career opportunities, and make useful contacts for their professional future.

The career expo is part of the university's activities to support students in their professional realization and to establish lasting connections between education and business.
At the end of last week, the first students who were trained in the master's programmes in 3D Technologies for Design and Production and Eco-technological Systems in Industry developed under that project graduated at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". The university has its first "engineers in Additive Technologies and masters in Eco-technological Systems.

The master's programme in Eco-technological Systems in Industry trains technical personnel for environmentally friendly technologies, recycling and extending the life cycle of products, sustainable development of the marine ecosystem, etc. The second intersectoral programme is entirely subordinated to digitalization and the use of digital technologies in the engineering fields. The study and practical application of 3D-technologies, data and process visualization, virtual reality, additive technologies, etc., which are the main components of Industry 4.0 and digitized production, are included in the training.
