Varna Free University receives two Varna awards
A project team led by Prof. D.Sc. Anna Nedyalkova – President of VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar” and Captain (Navy) Prof. D.Sc. Boyan Mednikarov – Commandant of N.Y. Vaptsarov Naval Academy was awarded the collective Varna award in the field of science and higher education in social sciences for the establishment of the first in Bulgaria International Economy, Business and Politics Alliance.
This innovative form of academic collaboration promotes the exchange of ideas to support the best practices in academic leadership, and provides a forum for strategic discussions and educational policies and practices.
An individual award in the technical sciences area was given to Prof. Lyuben Sivrev, a lecturer at Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”, for his research and teaching achievements, and for his series of monographs in the field of public service in industrial enterprises and territories.
The awards were presented by the Chair of the municipality council in Varna Ivan Lukov, at an official award ceremony in the Plenary Hall of Varna Municipality.
