WELCOME TO THE ANNUAL CONCERT OF THE STUDENTS IN CHOREGRAPHY AT VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABER"

The annual concert of the Choreography students at Varna Free University will take place on 23 June in Hall 1 of the Festival and Congress Centre in Varna at 6,30 pm. The concert will present works by students of the major, built on the basis of folk and contemporary dance art. Special guests and performers will be the students of the Secondary School for Humanities and Arts "Konstantin Preslavski" in Varna.

In the course of the four-year study of the students in Choreography at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" they acquire knowledge in all aspects of the "choreographer" job - creative, staging, teaching and management. The rate of realization of graduates from the specialty as managers of dance ensembles, teachers in secondary education, performers in dance formations and ensembles is high. The academic dance theater at the university is the creative laboratory in which students who have proven their performance qualities and skills to the highest degree improve their dancing abilities and get the opportunity to realize their creative ideas in a real environment. A month ago, the concert-performance "Traditions in Rhythm and Creativity", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Academic Dance Theater at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" crammed the "Congress" hall of the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna full. The team of lecturers who work with the students was awarded one of the highest awards of the Union of Music and Dance Artists in Bulgaria - "Golden Lira". The team was awarded honorary plaques by the Mayor of Varna Municipality, the National Representation of Student Councils, and the Association of Schools with Professional and Advanced Choreography Education.
The concerts of the Academic Dance Theater and the students in Choreography at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" attract more and more people not only from Varna and the region, but also from all over Bulgaria.

The annual concert is part of the programme of "7 Days of Art and Design" of the Department of Arts and the Faculty of Architecture at Varna Free University.
As part of the initiative, exhibitions of students in Graphic Design were opened at the university yesterday.
More than 70 student projects are included in the exposition, which was opened in the Educational and Sports Complex of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". Students present their designs of pictograms, ideograms and words as illustrations. Part of the tasks are related to the visual communication of hypothetical Olympic Games, which could be hosted by our country. The students' projects were developed under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Viktor Petkov.
"Let's protect the Forests of Bulgaria" is an exhibition of posters made by the second-year students in Design under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diana Sotirova. The posters are inspired by trends and styles in art such as minimalism, art nouveau and art deco, and are part of the discipline History and Concept of Graphic Design. The exhibition is located in the Central Foyer of the University.
Today, at 12:30 in the East Park of the University, the Annual Fashion Show of the students in Fashion Design will be held, in which the creative visions related to sustainable fashion and current trends in the field of clothing will be presented. The graduates Militsa Vladimirova and Halil Duraliyev will present their own fashion brands, which started as startups already during their studies at the university.
