Welcome to the 'Knowledge in Lights' celebration!

On December 3rd, 2024, on the eve of the Students’ Day and Christmas, Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" invites the entire academic family to a celebration!

December 3rd, holiday programme:

12pm - 2pm, Central Lobby:
► ‘Sweet Mission for a Good Cause’
Take part in a charity bazaar with homemade sweets. We are waiting for you at the bazaar with culinary creations. Bring your good appetite with you!
All funds raised will be donated to the Home for Medical and Social Care for Children in Vinitsa neighborhood and the Family-Type Accommodation Center in the village of Izgrev. The campaign was organized following the idea of Mihaela Dimitrova, a student majoring in Law..

► ‘Christmas Miracles - Make Your Own Christmas Tree with Formwork’
A creative workshop for Christmas decoration, taught by Ilyaz Ilyaz, a student majoring in Architecture.

► ‘Make it Beautiful’
Christmas card making with calligraphy texts and recycled materials, organized by the Eclectica Club.

► ‘Magic Under Pressure’
Balloon workshop filled with lots of noise, surprises and laughter, with Teodor Tanchev, a student majoring in Business Administration and Management.

12pm - 1pm Minima Auditorium
► ‘HoroMania’
Discover the magic of Bulgarian folk dances together with the students from the Academic Dance Theate "Chernorizets Hrabar".

2pm - 4pm, Maxima Auditorium
► Concert on the occasion of the Students' Day
With the special participation of:
Varna Free Band,
Alexandrina Petrova,
Mina Lazarova and Dimitar Vassilev.

4pm, Central Entrance of VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar” (next to the overpass)
► Let's turn on the light on the Christmas tree together at Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”
At the invitation of the President of the University Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krasimir Nedyalkov, all students, lecturers, employees and guests will turn on the light on the Christmas tree together, enjoy a glass of mulled wine and good music!
