YANI YANEV PRESENTED HIS NEW WORK ENTITLED 'ABOUT THE BEGINNING OF THE CONTRACT IN THE BULGARIAN STATE (V – VII CENTURY)'

Yani Yanev, vice president of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" presented his new work entitled ‘About the Beginning of the Contract in the Bulgarian State (V-VII c). Part one: Is Bulgaria of Khan Isperih the successor of the territorial rights under the Treaty from the year 448 between Byzantium and the Hun Empire?’, which examines this key moment in history.
The book presents a detailed analysis of the period V - VII century, enriched through the eyes of a person in the legal profession, and focuses on the Treaty of 448 between Byzantium and the Hun Empire. In the book, Yani Yanev and his co-author, Svetlozar Popov, examine the question of whether Bulgaria of Isperih was the legal successor to the territorial rights established by this treaty.
The authors combine their research and analysis with historical data, providing a new insight into the history and roots of the Bulgarian people.
The event was honored by Prof. Dr. Anna Nedyalkova, chairperson of the university's Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov, rector of the university, who shared his opinion about the new book. A speech was also made by Prof. Emil Konstantinov, who shared his impressions of the research presented in the book by Yani Yanev and Svetlozar Popov.
