07/03/2019At a special ceremony on March 16, Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will present innovative Master's degree programmes in Cyber Security and Intelligent Systems for the Protection of the Population. The project for the establishment of the Black Sea Academy of Security will be announced during the event.
EXPEDITION TO SHIPKA PEAK IN HONOUR OF 3 MARCH
06/03/2019Students and lecturers from the Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" went to an expedition to the historic Shipka peak. It was initiated by the Russian Center at the University and the Student Council. On the national holiday of Bulgaria - March 3, students from five nationalities put a wreath on the legendary monument - a symbol of Bulgarian freedom and commemorated the memory of the thousands of Russian warriors and Bulgarian volunteers who died in the Russo-Turkish War of Liberation from 1877-1878.

06/03/2019For the first time in its history, the Union of Scientists - Varna established an annual prize for young scientists working in scientific units on the territory of Varna region. The "Young Scientist" competition will take place every year. In 2019 the competition between the young scientists will be in two fields - "Medicine and Sport" and "Social, Economic and Legal Sciences".

01/03/2019Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" was re-certified for the sixth consecutive time under the ISO standards - quality management. The evaluation process has been successfully completed by the Bureau Veritas Certification International Organization and the university has been awarded an accreditation certificate from UKAS (Great Britain) for a period of 3 years - until 2022.

Huge interest in Varna Free University during the Candidate Students Exchanges
27/02/2019Huge interest in the programmes and projects of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" was noted on the candidate student exchanges, which took place in the beginning of the week in Plovdiv and Varna. The future students put glasses for virtual reality at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and managed to get into the auditoriums and see the campus of the university. The interest of the young people in the higher education institution is caused by the close connection of the educational process with the needs of the business and the labour market in Bulgaria and abroad.
