23/04/2024Polina Galinova – a student majoring in Psychology at Varna Free University, won the first place at the European Kickboxing Cup that took place yesterday in Plovdiv. In the final, Polina defeated the competitor from Hungary, in the category up to 60 kg, style K-1.

22/04/2024Blagovest Todorov, a fourth-year student majoring in Crime prevention and public order protection, won a gold medal in the backstroke event at the weekend swimming tournament, part of the XXIV Varna Universiade. Blagovest was also third in the freestyle.

18/04/2024The international students from the Preparatory course for language and specialized training at the Department of Foreign Languages and Postgraduate Qualification, VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", visited the Ethnographic museum in Varna for educational purposes. They familiarized themselves with the culture and lifestyle of the people from the Varna region in the second half of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century.

15/04/2024Dimitar Nedelchev and Emre Beizat, students in Varna Free University, were part of the Bulgarian team that brilliantly represented our country in Brussels in the #ConSIMium simulation organized by the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union. Dimitar Nedelchev took on the role of ambassador of Bulgaria, while Emre Beizat impersonated a journalist covering the work of the Council of the European Union. This year, the students conducted diplomatic negotiations related to EU regulations on artificial intelligence and cyber resilience.

03/04/2024Yoanna Hristova, a third-year student majoring in Graphic Design at Varna Free University, is the author of the drawing on the cover of the just-out-of-print children's book "Star Stories. First Meetings with the Stars for Children and Parents" by Ivanka Getsova-Momcheva. The book introduces readers to the inquisitive Iva, who soon starts school and often listens to the professional conversations of her astronomer parents.
