A cultural activity entitled The Bulgarian Christmas Traditions was held in the Language Center of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" with the foreign students from the preparatory course for language and specialized training on the eve of the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays. The event was organized and carried out by the Department of Foreign Language Education and Post-graduate Qualification.
Dr. Lyubomir Antonov - Head of the Department of Public Legal Sciences at the Faculty of Law at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", delivered a course of lectures on the topic Using Tax Regulations in Business Practice to teachers and students at the University of Economics and Innovation WSEI Academy in Lublin, Poland.
A forum on the topic "The Response of the Bulgarian Education System to the Flood of Ukrainian Refugees" was held in Varna on the initiative of the Association of Bulgarian Black Sea Municipalities (ABBSM) and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. The experts commented on the approaches and challenges for the system.
VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" will train students from Nantong University from China, and this will happen from the new academic year - 2024/2025. The cooperation between the two educational institutions was announced at a press conference for the Chinese media, in which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eleonora Tankova - vice-rector of Varna Free University and an expert team took part. Assoc. Prof. Tankova presented to the Chinese colleagues the guidelines for future development and the strategy for the successful implementation of educational and scientific initiatives.
An exciting meeting of the director Srebrina Sokolova with students from Varna Free University revealed new perspectives in the art world today. Srebrina Sokolova is an alumnus of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", which she graduated with flying colours and a gold ring award (see the picture).
The team of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" - Tsvetan Mitev, Dorothea Nikolaeva and Kalina Peteva, who are in TOP 3 of the Academy for Innovations 2023 organized by Innovation Starter, were on an informational visit to Brussels, where they had the opportunity to become familiar with the work of the European institutions. The visit to Brussels was part of their prize in the prestigious innovation competition, in which they triumphed over 48 out of 50 student teams with the innovative idea of producing eco-panels.
The 3 x 3 basketball team of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" is in the top three in the 'December 8' Cup competition. The event brought together the best teams from different universities, offering spectators unforgettable moments of tension and sportsmanship.
