The Faculty of International Economics and Administration and the master's degree programme in Advertising and Public Relations in Business Management at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" initiate the creation of a permanent forum entitled The Art of Communication, led by Assoc. Prof. Georgi Kalaglarski, PhD.
The course organised by the Faculty of Law at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" aroused great interest. This year as well, the course entitled Forensic Profiling of Unknown Perpetrators of Crimes, led by Prof. Yonko Kunchev, D.Sc. - Dean of the Faculty and head of the master's degree programme in Forensic Science at the university attracted over 160 participants.
The personal finance course generated a great interest. It was led by the prominent Bulgarian financier and university lecturer Prof. Daniela Bobeva, PhD. The Faculty of International Economics and Administration of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" shared the course and invited schoolchildren to participate.
Representatives of municipalities and state institutions took part in a webinar on the Public Procurement Act for contracting authorities in construction, organized by the Department of Construction of Buildings and Facilities at the Faculty of Architecture at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". Municipal and state administrations, that are contracting authorities are greatly interested in the event.
Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" invites high school students to a course in personal finance, which will be taught by the lecturer and one of the well-known Bulgarian financiers - Prof. Daniela Bobeva, PhD.
The Russian Center at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" celebrated its 13th birthday today. Traditionally, on January 25 - Tatiana's Name Day and a holiday of Russian students, the team of the Center invites colleagues and friends for a piece of cake and a cup of tea.
Vladimir Bronfenbrenner - Secretary General of the Black Sea Security Academy at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and a famous expert on national security in Israel, spoke about the new threats to children and the younger generation in cyberspace for the newspaper "Standard". He put an emphasis on cyberbullying adolescents. "Years ago, our parents warned us not to open the door to strangers, today it's the same, but in cyberspace. They offer teenagers free access to sites in order to steal their passwords," he said.
For the first time, projects of students majoring in Architecture at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" participated in the prestigious European Union competition for young talents in the field of architecture. The projects of Olga Golant and Achilia Rufat were published in the catalog of the competition, which presents the works of participants from around the world.
The Criminology Club, established on the initiative of students from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", initiated the establishment of the Corps of Witnesses for the State Authorities. The club will provide the regional directorates of the Ministry of Interior with a list of those wishing to be witnesses of the conduct of procedural and investigative actions - inspection, search, seizure, identification and investigative experiments. The members of the Criminology Club are well-trained, young and responsible people who have knowledge in the field of criminology and are interested in the investigation in the pre-trial phase.
