Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" continues to enroll students for the summer semester of the academic year 2021/2022, as well as for the academic year 2022/2023.
Eleni Skeva is a 4th-year student majoring in Psychology at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". She applied for Erasmus + student mobility and is already at the University of Wroclaw in Poland. She worked with her foreign colleagues throughout the winter semester of the academic year 2021/2022. Eleni graduated from high school in Greece and then chose VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".

Hristina Hineva - a second-year student in the professional field "Economics" at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", was awarded the Annual Excellent Student Award of the Municipality of Varna. This happened at an official ceremony yesterday, at which the Mayor Ivan Portnich presented the prestigious awards to the students. The nominations are made by the student councils of the universities for their colleagues who have won awards in various national and international forums and are further discussed by the Municipal Council.
Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", the Technical University - Varna and "Paisii Hilendarski" University of Plovdiv will accept students in two joint master's degree programmes - "Ecotechnological Systems in Industry" and "3D Technologies for Production Design" from the next academic year. They are realised under the project "Innovative model for modernization of higher education through the creation of an academic ecosystem." The celebration will be on December 16, at 4 pm in front of the Christmas tree on the university premises.
Bulgaria has reduced the generated household waste per person by over 20% in the last 20 years. The data were announced by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ralitsa Zhekova - a lecturer at Varna Free University and head of the Regional Agency for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. This happened during the second working meeting for the project "Knowledge of the circular economy in the Black Sea basin CIRCLECON - BSB 1021", in which VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" is the leading organization. The meeting was attended by representatives of Bulgarian universities, NGOs and businesses, as well as partners from Greece, Ukraine, Georgia and Turkey.
