In Russia, 2021 has been proclaimed a year dedicated to St Alexandar Nevsky - patron of Emperor Alexandar II and heavenly patron of the Russian diplomacy. On this occasion, at the beginning of the month in the Museum The Patriotic War of 1812 in Moscow, an international conference was held, attended by a Bulgarian delegation - historians and political scientists from Varna, Plovdiv and Sofia universities.
The International Online Conference for Young Scientists, Students and Doctoral Students entitled Challenges and Approaches for Overcoming the Consequences of the COVID-19 Crisis was held at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". The event is part of the research project Intelligent Future and is held on the initiative of the Department of Economics at the Faculty of International Economics and Administration. The forum is under the sign of the 30th year from the establishment of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". It is carried out with the financial support of the Municipality of Varna.
An exhibition "The Beginning" was opened today in the University Library of Varna Free University, presenting over 50 of the best student diploma projects in "Fashion Design" from the first classes of 1994. Two students from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" successfully completed their one-month internship at the Moscow University for the Humanities. At the final meeting, they presented and defended their course projects. Victoria Boycheva and Valentin Markov are the first to do internships at the Moscow University for the Humanities after the cooperation agreement between the two universities has been signed. The Moscow University for the Humanities at the Russian Academy of Sciences combines the traditions of Russian science with modern requirements for achieving high results in higher education.
On 8 June at 6:00 pm, in the area close to the Musala hostel, the presentation of the Activate the Space project took place, in which an important role was played by the second-year students of Architecture, who presented their works to the public of Varna. Their projects presented visions for the transformation of 5 different public spaces in the city centre.
