ARCHITECTURE STUDENTS OF VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" WILL DEVELOP A PROJECT FOR AN INDUSTRIAL ZONE AND PRODUCTION BUILDINGS IN DEVNYA
22/10/2020Students majoring in Architecture at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" were given assignments to develop projects for development plans in the new industrial territory of Devnya, as well as production buildings in it. This happened during the "field lectures" in the course of Industrial Buildings and Complexes, which were held in the Municipality of Devnya. The future architects met with Mayor Svilen Shitov and Chief Architect Simeon Georgiev. The students got acquainted with the plans for the establishment of an industrial zone near the city.

21/10/2020Cultural tourism management in the municipality of Kazanlak was discussed by students and lecturers in the master's degree programmes in Advertising and Public Relations in Business Management and Cultural Tourism Management at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". The programmes are led by Assoc. Prof.Georgi Kalaglarski, PhD. Specialists from the municipal administration and experts from the regional museum and art gallery in the town also took part in the discussion.

LAW STUDENTS ON PLACEMENT IN THE COURT OF APPEALS IN VARNA
14/10/2020VFU law students are on placement at the Court of Appeal - Varna. The court is a training organization under the "Student Internships - Phase 2" project of the Ministry of Education and Science, and one of the mentors is the criminal judge Svetoslava Koleva, the court's press service reported.

14/10/2020Representatives of the Black Sea Security Academy at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" took part in the Industrial Forum, which was held in Plovdiv, within the International Exhibition "Hemus 2020 - Defence, Counterterrorism and Security". They briefed the participants on Israel's leading experience in coordinating academic education, industry and the role of the state in national security. The forum is a generator of ideas and a mediator at the national level, which aims to support the implementation of successful policies for the development of technology in the field of defence and security.
HRISTO RUSEV - A GRADUATE OF VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR", CREATED A BOOK-ALBUM ABOUT THE WORLD FAMOUS VIOLINIST VASKO VASILEV
09/10/2020Hristo Rusev – a VFU alumnus and leading world photographer, who is in the top 100 best photographers in the CNN ranking, is the author of the new book-album about the most famous Bulgarian violinist in the world Vasko Vasilev. The book includes unique photographs from the stage, cities, backstage during tours in Spain, Great Britain, Japan and Bulgaria. It is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the virtuoso musician and will be presented on his birthday – 14 October in Sofia.

The event was also dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian composer of the Romantic period, Pyotr Ilyich Chaikovsky.

28/09/2020Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" opened the academic year 2020/2021, which will mark the 30th anniversary of its foundation. Special guest of the ceremony was the Minister of Education and Science Krasimir Valchev. The event was attended by the mayors of Varna, Smolyan and Rudozem - Ivan Portnih, Nikolay Melemov and Rumen Pehlivanov, the regional governor of region with administrative centre Varna Stoyan Pasev, the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Varna Vladimir Klimanov, the Chairperson of the Council of Rectors and Rector of Sofia University "St Kliment Ohridski" - Prof. Anastas Gerdzhikov, D.Sc., the rectors of Varna universities, head teachers of secondary schools, representatives of the judiciary, social partners and employers related to the university.
