16/03/2020Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" is the first Bulgarian university to integrate application and training processes with Google Cloud Technologies in collaboration with the Creative Learning Center. This happened as part of the pilot project of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the Creative Training Center for implementation of Google G Suite at the university. 13/03/2020In connection with the Order of the Minister of Health for introduction of anti-epidemic measures in Bulgaria, VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar” suspends classes, cancels the semester and state exams and the contact hours until 29 March 2020. The students of Varna Free University will be informed in due time by departments for the transition to distance learning (or electronic forms). 11/03/2020The summer semester of the academic year 2019/2020 starts at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" on March 12, 2020. In regard with the registered rise of flue and acute respiratory infections, on the grounds of an Order of the President of Varna Free University Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krasimir Nedyalkov, lectures and seminars will be delivered with students being placed across a place or at a distance of one meter.
THE BLACK SEA SECURITY ACADEMY AND THE PERM STATE UNIVERSITY SIGNED A COOPERATION AGREEMENT
09/03/2020A partnership and cooperation agreement was signed between the Black Sea Security Academy at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the Perm State University. A number of joint projects are planned in the area of economic and customs security, as well as in the field of cybersecurity.

06/03/2020On the grounds of Order No. РД-01-114 / 05.03.2020 of the Minister of Health issued in connection with the registered epidemic outbreak of influenza and acute epidemic diseases, the President of Varna Free University Assoc. Prof. Krasimir Nedyalkov, PhD issued an order for moving the beginning of the summer semester of the academic year 2019/2020 from 9 March for 12 March 2020.
