CIBER MAGICIANS WILL DISCOVER THE SECRETS OF THE INTERNET
11/07/2019Students from "Nayden Gerov" Primary School and Hristo Botev Primary School in Varna will present to their parents the secrets of cyberspace they have learned during the last two weeks within the framework of the project "Cyber magicians". The event will take place on Friday - July 12, at 5 pm at Mladeshki Dom in Varna. During the meeting, the lecturers from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will provide parents with useful information about security and how to avoid the dangers in the digital environment that their children use. The educational project is implemented by the Directorate "Education and Youth Activities" of Varna Municipality and Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar".
VARNA FREE UNIVERSITY WITH A VERY HIGH SCORE FOR INSTITUTIONAL ACCREDITATION
09/07/2019Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" received the highest score for institutional accreditation - 9, 21 (under the ten-point system) by the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency (NEAA) at the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria. In accordance with the Higher Education Act, the accreditation of the university is for a maximum of six years - until 2025. The score of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar” is higher than the one received in 2013. In the context of the received institutional accreditation, NEAA has given a positive assessment of the distance learning environment at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".

04/07/2019On 12 and 13 June 2019, at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Habar", the fourth partnership meeting under the project Applications and Web Content Accessibility Training - AWCAT №2017-1-PL01-KA203-038820 was held under the Erasmus + Programme, KD2 "Strategic Partnerships" of the EU. The meeting was attended by representatives of all partner organizations from Poland, Austria and Bulgaria.
VFU STUDENTS IN THE EUROPEAN PROGRAMME OF HAURATON, GERMANY
04/07/2019For the first year students of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", majoring in Construction of Buildings and Structures, Water Supply and Sewerage profile, were selected to participate in the European Student Programme 2019 of Hauraton Company, town of Rastatt, Germany. The Hauraton Company is one of the leading companies in the field of surface water removal solutions by building drainage systems in industrial and infrastructure construction.

02/07/2019The Technology Transfer Office of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" hosted a practical course in Materials and Technologies in Construction and Architecture. It was attended by lecturers and second-year students of Architecture and Urban Construction of the National University of Urban Economy "A. N.Beketov ", city of Kharkov, Ukraine. The Kharkov University has established and working collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".

The event also involved renowned lecturers who work at the Branch, as well as the head of the master's degree programme - Prof. Yonko Kunchev, D.Sc.

120 VARNA STUDENTS BECOME "CYBERMAGICIANS"
28/06/2019This summer, 120 Varna students will become "Cybermagicians". From 1 July to 23 August, children from the 5th and 6th grade from 17 schools will receive one-week "cyber" training. This educational project is implemented by Youth Activities Directorate at the Municipality of Varna and Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". It is in pursuance of the Programme for Stimulating Activities and Expression of Schoolchildren in the Municipality and aims to develop their skills in the fields of informatics, mathematics, arts and above all the safe and secure use of the Internet environment
