01/10/2019For the 28th consecutive year Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" started the new academic year with a solemn ceremony and a blessing of water ritual. The institution is proud to open its doors for the 2019/2020 academic year with the highest score received by the National Assessment and Accreditation Agency at the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria - 9.21 (on the ten-point system). An assessment that places the university in the forefront of higher education institutions in the country and as first among private universities in Bulgaria.

WORK BEGAN ON THE CREATION OF CONCEPTS FOR SOCIALIZATION OF THE VARNA NECROPOLIS
18/09/2019Three student teams that will be working on creating socialization concepts for the Varna Necropolis in the coming days, in which the world's oldest processed gold was discovered, inspected the terrain today. In 1972, more than 3,000 gold objects were discovered in 294 graves dating back to the Copper Age. The finds are considered to be the oldest technologically processed gold in Europe and in the world, attributed to the so called Culture Varna (4400 - 4100 BC).

17/09/2019Varna Free University welcomed 68 participants from 27 universities from Georgia, Ukraine, Slovenia and Croatia, who are participating in the 4th International Scientific Forum entitled "Innovation in Science - Challenges of Our Time". The event was organized by Chernihiv State Technological University in Ukraine, VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the Ukrainian Centre for Strategic Initiatives and Progressive Development. It was opened today by Assoc. Prof. Krasimir Nedyalkov, PhD - President of Varna Free University, who emphasized that the university did not accidentally host the event - it is a generator of innovation in education, guided by the task that higher education institutions face - to educate in leadership. Prof. Galina Chamonina, PhD - General Secretary of the university, presented the partnership advantages and opportunities of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", as well as the leading master’s degree and doctoral programmes.
