The interdisciplinary master's degree programme "Circular Economics" at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" welcomed its second class from this pilot for Bulgaria and the European Union programme. 25 students will study with scholarships provided by the University Board of trustees. The new academic year in the master's degree programme was opened by Prof. D.Sc. Anna Nedyalkova - Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and George Kremlis - Honorary Director of the Directorate General for Environment of the European Commission, under whose patronage the master's degree programme is.
The doctoral programme "Organization and Management Outside the Field of Material Production" in the professional field "Administration and Management" at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" got a score of 9.35 (on a ten-point scale) from the National Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation. The evaluation strengthened the leading position of the doctoral programme at the university.
The Honorary Director of the Directorate General for Environment of the European Commission George Kremlis and Prof. D.Sc. Anna Nedyalkova - Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" will open the new academic year for students in the master's degree programme "Circular Economics" at Varna Free University. The event will take place on November 26, 2021 (Friday) at 1.30 pm both at the university and online.
The sports team of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" performed excellently in the swimming tournament "December 8 Cup", which was held over the weekend at the indoor pool "Dr. Lyuben Lazarov" in The Primorski swimming complex. Under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Ognyan Kachev, our boys and girls won gold and silver medals in the individual ranking.
With great sorrow we received the news of the death of Prof. D.Sc. Nora Ananieva, a member of the Scientific Expert Council in the Faculty of Law at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", a longtime lecturer in Constitutional Law at our university, a prominent politician and public figure, a friend of Varna Free University.
The deadline to apply for participation in student study mobility for the second semester of the academic year 2021/2022 is November 5. According to the rules of the Erasmus + Programme, students who want to apply for the second semester of the academic year 2021/2022 must have completed their 1st year of training, paid all fees and passed all exams.
