PROJECTS OF THE STUDENTS' UNION OF VARNA FREE UNIVERSITY WITH NOMINATIONS IN THE NATIONAL VOLUNTARY INITIATIVE COMPETITION
06/12/2019Two projects of the Students' Union of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" have been nominated for "Best Volunteer Initiative" in the competition of the National Alliance for Work with Volunteers and the Tulip Foundation. Today, at the Presidency, the organizers handed over the diploma to the chairperson of the union - Dorothea Nikolaeva and to the fourth-year student Sali Svetoslavov. This happened in the presence of the Head of State Rumen Radev and the Ombudsman of the Republic Diana Kovacheva.

04/12/2019Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" was honored as a donator to the Art Fund for 2019 by the board of directors of the St. St. Constantine and Helena Foundation for their exceptional involvement in charity causes to help children in need. The prize was awarded to the President of the University Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krasimir Nedyalkov by Elena Koseva - Manager of St. St. Konstantin and Elena Foundation.

29/11/2019The Leaders Lectures Series, organized by the Black Sea Security Academy, begins on November 30th at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". Col (Retired) Yitzhak Turgeman - Former Director of the Ministry of Defense of Israel for Social Policies will present "Contemporary National Security Issues" to students and experts from state and municipal structures. The event is supported by Guzik Technical Enterprises - USA and will be held on November 30th, 2019, at 10:00 am at the Russian Center of Varna Free University.

The diplomat presented the topic "Russia in the international relations" to students from the professional field "Political Sciences", lecturers and guests.
ISRAELI LEVEL OF CYBERSECURITY TRAINING IN BULGARIA
26/11/2019The Black Sea Security Academy held with great success a two-day Cybersecurity Framework Practitioner Training for Professionals master class. The event, which was held at Varna Free University, was attended by students from G.S. Rakovski Military Academy, from the master’s degree programmes at VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar”, as well as by experts from the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the National Social Security Institute. Lecturers were Dr. Moti Zwilling, Dr. Amit Dvir, and Ahiad Alter, leading experts from Ariel Cyber Innovation Center at Ariel University.

STUDENTS PRESENT A BOOK BY A LECTURER
25/11/2019Students and faculty from the master’s degree programmes in Branding, Advertising and Public Relations in Business Management and Cultural Tourism Management at VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar” organize the premiere of Prof. Ruse Marinov's book “Information Domain”. The book has been awarded the 2019 prize by the Union of Bulgarian Journalists for research academic literature. The premiere is on 29 November this Friday at 5 pm at the Club of Architects in Varna.
