The International Business Conference entitled "Science and Business for Smart Future", organized for the third time by the Faculty of International Economics and Administration of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", will be held on 14 and 15 June 2019 at the university. During the forum, research practices in favour of business, the partnership of universities and companies, the creation and inclusion of research groups will be discussed. Partner interdisciplinary research in the field of medicine and computer science will be presented.

By decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria of June 6, 2019, an amendment of the Ordinance on the Unified State Requirements for Higher Education in Law and the acquiring of the professional qualification "Lawyer" was adopted. By virtue of the current amendments, VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" announces the admission for the specialty "Law" both in full-time and part-time training for the academic year 2019/2020.
Representatives of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" took part in the V Livadia International Humanitarian Forum, which took place in the legendary town of Yalta on the Crimean Peninsula. The event was attended by the methodologist of the Russian Center Miglena Dimitrova and the PhD student Kristian Ivanov - as participants in the "New Generation" program of Rossotrudnichestvo.
The Branch of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" welcomed 30 youths from NATO member states, who took part in the NATO's international Summer School in Smolyan. Observing an old Bulgarian tradition, the guests were welcomed by students and young friends of the Branch with bread and salt. The delegation took part in a round table discussion on "What is NATO for us?" The discussion involved young people from Bulgaria, Northern Macedonia, Kosovo, Hungary, France, Germany, Turkey and Greece.
Assoc. Prof. Arch. Stancho Vekov presented his retrospective exhibition Built/Unbuilt 50:50 at the Architect's Home in Varna. The event is supported by Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", the Culture Fund at the Municipality of Varna, the Union of Architects and the Chamber of Architects in Bulgaria. The exhibition, dedicated to 45 years of creative work and 70 years since the birth of Arch. Vekov, was presented by the President of UAB Prof. Arch. Todor Bulev, PhD.
Students of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will work on developing a strategy for prevention and protection of the population from earthquakes in Provadia. Mentor of the workshop will be the world-renowned architect - Prof. Masut Ismailu, PhD of the University of Architecture in Venice, he himself said during his visit to the International Conference ArCivE'2019 - Architecture and Construction, which took place at the University.
Students and lecturers from the Smolyan branch of Varna Free University took part in the opened today by the President of the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria Dr Solomon Passy and the Deputy Regional Governor Andriyan Petrov 6th Summer school "NATO @ 70 the road ahead". The event is held for the fifth consecutive year in Smolyan. The seminar is organized by the Bulgarian Euro-Atlantic Youth Club and aims to bring together young people of different nationalities together with people from NGOs, the media and government representatives to discuss topics related to the future of NATO.
