Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will train more than 100 directors of educational institutions from Varna on the topic "STE(A)M - Strategies, Policies, Methodologies and Practices". The event will be held on April 11 and 12 at 9.00 am at Estreya Residence in the resort "St. St. Constantine and Helena". The headmasters of 36 primary and 12 secondary schools, the directors of 51 kindergartens and five Centers for Personal Development will take part in it. Varna Municipality is a partner in the training.
Another project in favor of students studying foreign languages at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" was successful due to the cooperation between Varna Free University and the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudichestvo).
The Director of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Varna - Chief Commissioner Daniel Pashov, awarded today students from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" and thanked them for the effective information campaign to limit phone frauds aimed at the elderly people. During the recent weeks, students from Varna Free University have visited 20 retirement clubs in the city and talked with over 2,500 elderly people to explain how to protect themselves from phone con men. The campaign was carried out together with the Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior and the regional city council in the sea capital.
The internship focuses on topics that are applicable in the real business environment. Students will work on a specific task - site optimization, using real world hosting. The training is realized within the framework of the 411 Academy - an educational project oriented towards training of students in the field of digital marketing, SEO and web development.
Students from the Master's degree programs "Tax and Customs Control" and "Circular Economy" from the Smolyan branch of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" did a practical work experience last week to become acquainted with the work of the customs and tax administration. They acquired key competences and used the acquired knowledge and skills "on-site".
