The special programme of the ceremony was prepared by Zdravena Nakeva - an alumna of our university.

Tomorrow – 29 May 2026, the Management Board of the Chamber of Architects in Bulgaria will hold an external meeting at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar".

For two decades, Ralitsa Vasileva was the face of the global news television CNN, where she covered some of the most significant international events and interviewed world leaders, public figures and individuals with global influence.

Over 450 former students of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" gathered in the university for the alumni meeting "35 years - generations of knowledge and trust", which became the culmination of the celebrations on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the first private university in Bulgaria.

“I am fulfilling my pleasant duty to inform the entire Varna public that, with our blessing and with the support of Varna Free University, in celebration of its 35th anniversary as this prestigious higher spiritual school, we supported the idea of creating a monument to the Holy Seven Saints, who are connected with our diocese,” stated His Eminence Metropolitan Ioan.

The President of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” gave an interview to the Dir.bg portal on the occasion of the university’s 35th anniversary.

The choreography for the ceremony was created collaboratively by students from the Choreography programme - Bozhidar Gudev, a first-year student, and Evelina Georgieva, a fourth-year student - together with university alumna Zdravena Nakeva, a well-established name in Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics in Varna.
