13/01/2024he team of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" was awarded first place in the national student competition in administrative and legal sciences. The excellent performance of the fifth-year students majoring in Law - Slavena Georgieva - team captain, Maria Bozhinova, Kremena Kostadinova, Gulfidan Eminova and Tsvetelina Stoyanova, ranked them at the top of the competition.
STUDENTS MAJORING IN CHOREGRAPHY WILL EXPERINCE THE TRADITIONS OF BABINDEN IN SOUTHWEST BULGARIA
13/01/2024A joint folklore expedition of students majoring in Choreography at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" and Southwest University "Neofit Rilski", Blagoevgrad, will take place from January 18 to 22, 2024. The students will embark on a magical journey "On Babinden" and will feel the atmosphere of the living tradition carried over in time. In their meetings with folk culture bearers in Bansko, Bachevo, Breznica and Razlog, they will apply their knowledge and experience the emotions of a field study.

12/01/2024Verb tenses are one of the most serious difficulties encountered by foreigners learning Bulgarian. Especially in the initial stage of learning, the sound Ъ turns out to be an obstacle. This is what Assoc. Prof. Dimitar Marinov, who teaches Bulgarian to foreign students at Varna Free University, said in front of BTA. The university has a special course 'Bulgarian as a Foreign Language', which is studied in a preparatory year for language and specialized training.

11/01/2024A team from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will take part in the first national student competition in administrative and legal sciences, which will be held on January 13, 2024 at the Supreme Administrative Court of Bulgaria. Six teams from key law schools in the country have applied for participation in the competition - VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, HBU, South-West University "Heofit Rilski", Paisii Hilendarski University of Provdiv and "Angel Kanchev" University of Ruse.

21/12/2023The project "AKADEKOS - Innovative model for modernization of higher education by creating an academic ecosystem VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar” - The Technical University - Varna - Paisiy Hilendarski university of Plovdiv was successfully completed. The beneficiary of the project is VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the partners TU - Varna and "Paisiy Hilendarski" University of Plovdiv. For the first time, private and public higher education institutions in Bulgaria established the innovative joint master's programmes 'Eco-technological Systems in industry' and '3D Technologies for Design and Production', which continue to be permanently present in the portfolio of all three universities after the completion of the project. 39 students have already been trained in the pilot master's programmes, and 36 of them are about to receive their first joint diplomas, said Assoc. VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABER" LAUNCHES THE MASTER'S PROGRAMME IN INTELLIGENT SECURITY SYSTEMS TAUGHT IN TURKISH
20/12/2023Varna Free University has launched its new master's degree programme in Intelligent Security Systems, which is taught in Turkish. The first class of students in the programme includes representatives of the Association of Fire Brigades from the Turkish city of Tekirdag. The first module of the training includes lecturers from VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy, representatives of the emergency services – police, ambulance assistance, fire brigade, the Single European emergency number 112, the Municipality of Varna, etc.
