
This marks his second such recognition, after receiving the same award in 2025 at the National Competition in Criminal Law Sciences, hosted by Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”.

The award from the Union of Lawyers in Bulgaria is related to his work as a prosecutor and his involvement in investigating telephone fraud schemes in the country in recent years.

Students from Varna won first place for a project titled “Shared Leisure Space – Installation Type.” Mariella Taptaklieva, Viktoria Kasova, Marina Pencheva, and Natalia Sirakova from the Vocational High School of Construction, Architecture and Geodesy “Vasil Levski” in Varna impressed the jury of the “I Can Build – DELECTO” competition with a conceptual project dedicated to their school.

The meeting was part of the fourth-year students’ preparation for their upcoming participation in the National Inter-University Case-Solving Competition in the field of civil and commercial law at Burgas Free University.

The event is open to all students and graduates of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”, as well as young professionals looking for new opportunities and inspiration for growth.

The session was held under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov, who introduced the students to the topic of the strategic importance of fortification systems dating back to ancient times.

The premiere will take place on 23 April at 5:30 p.m. at the Graphic Art Gallery of the Varna City Art Gallery.

Hosting the competition is part of the events marking the university’s 35th anniversary and 30 years since the establishment of its Faculty of Architecture.

Among the students is also the team that won first place in the National Student Competition in Criminal Law Sciences, organized by the Lawyers’ Club “Prof. Tamara Hinova” under the Student Council and the Faculty of Law of our university.
